The “Giarola” Farm is located in Palazzolo di Sona (VR) near Garda Lake, the perfect area for the production of typical wines of this territory, such as Amarone, Lugana, Bardolino and Custoza. The mild and temperate climate and the strategic position in the Garda hinterland are the determining factors that led to the D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. designation of all the Company’s production land.
Since 1923 the land of our family has been cultivated with vines and in 1968 Umberto Giarola began the vinification of grapes. In the last years, we have had many developments and several radical changes. All these are founded in the philosophy which inspires our company, that can be summed up in the concepts of “Respect for the Environment” and “Love for the Nature”. Firmly adhering to these principles, our company has always been able to be in the vanguard and move with the times.
