PDC is the only winery specialized in the production of Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze and is based in Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the prestigious Cartizze area.
WE reject intensive cultivation practices with the aim of producing sparkling wines of the highest level, strongly representative of the talent of these ancient lands. The annual production is very limited: 15 thousand bottles.
To date it is the only reality in Cartizze to be organic certified, cultivating and making wine through sustainable and certified practices.
The modern and contemporary design frames the estate, surrounded by centenarian vineyards: we will guide you through a sensory experience where you will learn how to professionally taste a Cartizze wine following a visual, olfactory and tasting analysis of the 4 versions of our Cartizze wines. The experience will continue with a short walk through the winery and vineyards, where you will learn the secrets of wine-making and organic cultivation.
PDC winery organizes tasting sessions every day at: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 noon, 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The 2 different tasting experiences available are listed below.

The guided tour continues outdoors in the cellar where you will learn about the vinification methods using concrete and stainless-steel tanks. We will then guide you through our vineyards where you will meet some of our centenarian vines and discover secrets about the organic cultivation. To conclude, you will reach the panoramic viewpoint on the top of the hill where you will be able to admire the Unesco hills.

Couldn’t have had a more incredible experience at Cartizze PDC in September of 2023! Our guide Laura was so wonderful and provided such great information on the region and all it’s tradition. But the best part of course was the Prosecco which was hands down the best we had ever had. Stunning views at the foothills of the alps doesn’t hurt either! Absolutely try and book a tasting experience if you are going to be in the Valdobbiadene region. You won’t regret it! 🍾

We had a wonderful experience at Cartizze PDC in January. The staff took us through a tasting with great local food to complement the wines, and then led us on a tour of their facilities and vineyard. You can see the entire Cartizze Golden Pentagon from one spot on their beautiful property. A great experience and not to be missed for fans of Prosecco

if you’re looking for a prestigious cartizze made with passion in a gorgeous, modern winery – this is your place! the tasting was by far the best we experienced. the hostess was highly knowledgeable, accommodating and spoke great english. you are also given a tasting guide to take home with you which helps you appreciate the tasting notes and production process. it explains sour/bitter/acidic tones and how to notice them. they also have organic wines, one of very few in the area. the brut was my favorite, but all wines were of superior quality. this tasting made me more informed on how to taste and appreciate wine 🙂
there is attentional to detail in every design and they offer 4 different tasting options all with 4 glasses (brut, dry, and organic extra dry and organic extra brut). i could not recommend this place more for a refined tasting experience:)

We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience here. The tasting hostess was very knowledgeable and accommodating of any questions asked. We learned a lot about Prosecco and was surprised at my preference for Brut! The sides with the wine were nice. Wish we’d asked what type of cheeses we were offered because they were also very good.
Unfortunately we didn’t buy the crates we wanted because import fees were unpredictable to the UK. No fault of Cartizze, just another reason to hate Brexit.

Our beautiful hostess Gaia ran an excellent tour for us to their vineyard.

PDC is breathtaking. Words can’t discribe the beauty and history there is behind this area. The processco here is the finest you’ll try. The winery itself is also extra special. It’s owned by a 35 year old gentleman who’s passion for the wine goes far beyond what I could have ever imaged. He is extremely knowledgeable and it shows. It honorable to see his appreciation for the land and what he hopes it will become in the coming years with his and future generations. The wine was so good that we bought a case to ship it to the states. We also plan to order more once we are done with it in order to support this local business who strives to get the word out about this incredible land. I highly highly recommend visiting if you get the chance to do so.

We pre-booked a wine tasting with snacks. The tasting included four different wines, and three different snack pairings. The tasting was super informative and well organized. This was the best wine tasting we experienced in the area.
